DOL Knowledge Test (Digital)

We now offer the Washington State DOL Digital Knowledge Test at our Burien location.
Before your appointment, please make sure you:
Schedule your test appointment.
Bring a valid government-issued photo ID (Washington State ID, driver's permit, passport, or other government-issued ID).
Have your Washington State ID (WDL) number.
Create and activate your License eXpress account before you arrive.
Important: Your License eXpress account must be fully completed, including your username, password, and registration. If your account is incomplete or you cannot log in, we will not be able to administer your test, and your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
Please arrive 15–20 minutes early to complete check-in and required paperwork.

Knowledge Test Cancellation Policy.
A 48-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule your Knowledge Test.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment are subject to a $25 cancellation fee.
Cancellations with 48 hours or more notice may be rescheduled or canceled at no charge.
The $40 Knowledge Test fee includes up to two attempts. The second attempt must be used within 30 days of the first test.
