We love Burien Driving Academy! My son is almost sixteen and we chose Burien Driving Academy for its low cost and proximity to us. We are so happy we did! Lallu and his team made this confusing process clear to us, fun for my son, and affordable. Tara, Lallu, and Ackmal are professional and skilled educators/instructors. My son feels comfortable on the road (and I am comfortable with him driving my car) and I am sure he will be ready to test when the time comes to get his license. We both highly recommend. Honestly, my son is sad that the program is over because Lallu is so friendly to all and a mentor to him. They are welcoming of parents too and definitely go the extra mile to make everyone comfortable with the process. Thank you!

I took my road test at this location and it made me wish that I had taken my lessons here! The desk clerk was friendly, helpful, and sympathetic in scheduling an appointment for me to take a practice test, then road test. My driving instructor was there giving someone a written test, and immediately said he could take me even sooner than what was originally being offered, which gave me ample time to handle going to a licensing office afterwards. He genuinely cared about making sure that I was able to drive safely in the instructor vehicle, was very patient in his constructive criticism, and acknowledged my anxieties/weaknesses in driving accurately, providing solutions to what I was doing wrong so that I could correct myself. I admit I took lessons at 911 driving school beforehand but they had made me worse at driving due to ramping up my anxiety, whereas with this instructor, I felt calm, safe, and in control.

The first time I came to Burien Driving Academy in person, the staff and the instructors were very nice and made me feel comfortable as I applied for a 45 minute pre-test and skills test. They gave all my questions welcoming answers. During the skills test, I was especially nervous because I never took scheduled driving lessons however, Lallu made me feel very comfortable on the road even when I made a few mistakes. The 45-minute drive is something I highly recommend because during that time, your confidence with the instructor will grow. They take the time to make sure you know what you're doing.

Took my written and drivers test, the people were very kind. Had a good experience, I didn’t take classes but I passed. Would recommend taking the tests here even though the studying is your responsibility the people are still helpful.

Staff very friendly and professional. Very good instructor, 7 sessions was all it took for my daughter to be ready for the test and pass it. Not perfect score but that is to no fault of the instructor or school.
I imagine everybody's learning curve and abilities are different so my daughter's success story may not be the same for everybody, but what I think would be the same for everybody is the professional and friendly treatment of the staff.

I had lallu as my instructor. I didn’t know parallel parking or parking in general was actually easy until he taught me! He explain the steps very well. He’s good at finding strategies and explanations that works well for you and he’s really good with feedbacks on how you’re doing. He also give safety tips such as looking left and right if you’re the first one when the light turns green and emphasis on the important things such as looking over your shoulders before switching lanes.

Lallu was my instructor. He is just the best. Teaches you all you need in real life and also prepares you for DOL skill test. He knows his staff very well and on top of that he soooo friendly. He takes extra time to give you the little tips you need for your safety in your future. I passed the exam with 91% in my first trail. Honestly, this is the person you wanna deal with for your driving lesson. Good luck!
